Our Class Goins On: Classroom Design

Classroom design is an important part of how learning happens in a room. I incorporate real furniture, rugs, lamps and areas to create a more homelike atmosphere for my students. Natural light is preferred over fluorescent lighting, as studies have shown that it promotes better learning. Areas for reading, writing, math, science and social studies are clearly defined. Organization is key, and I will be sharing some of my organizing ideas on this page.
