Fig Pudding- Reader's Response

Are the characters in the book Fig Pudding realistic (do they seem like they could be real people)?
Why or why not?

I think that the characters in Fig Pudding are very realistic. My favorite character so far is Teddy. I love how he is always loud and has so much energy. He reminds me of myself when I was little.

I think that the characters in Fig Pudding are funny and that they are reaclistic. I could relate to Cliff being the oldest because I'm the oldest too. I felt like Cliff's family when Josh had to go to Saint Sam's because my brother Beau had to go to the hospital to get tubes for his ears.

I think the characters in fig pudding are realistic, because they seem to be a real family. My favorite character is Teddy because he always gets in trouble and I always get in trouble too. I do not have to go under the kitchen table when I am bad but if I would have to my dog would probably try to play with me.

I really like this book so far because the characters really show how they feel. I can relate to Cliff when he didn't want to share his new tackle box because I don't like it when one of my brothers mess with my new things!

I am so glad that y'all are loving Fig Pudding as much as I do! I could feel Cliff's emotions today when we read about the tackle box. Getting in trouble is never easy, and the author Ralph Fletcher, did an amazing job of making us feel what Cliff felt.

I can't wait to keep reading tomorrow!

I think the characters could be realistic because I've had an older brother that is like Teddy except Teddy is younger.

I think the characters in the story are real. I like Josh because no can tell what he is saying. I think its silly that he wants a little ladder. It was nice that his family built him a little ladder. It was scary when Josh went to the hospital with a runny nose.

I liked when Cliff was imagining that the grass was the sea with his rod and tackle box. My favorite character is ...? Teddy because he is loud, just like me. I think that the characters are realistic because I see this family living in our world.

I like the way Teddy teases his brothers and sister. I was worried about Josh because he went to the hospital when he was sick. That made me sad.

I like the part when Josh said "Ayidayada" when he was in the hospital.
